FUTA opens the national newsroom: traders now hear from the secretariat first
The Federation of Uganda Traders Associations today opens its official newsroom at futaug.org. This desk is the public voice of the national secretariat under President John Kabanda. From here we will publish statements

The Federation of Uganda Traders Associations today opens its official newsroom at futaug.org. This desk is the public voice of the national secretariat under President John Kabanda. From here we will publish statements on markets, tax, licensing, security of trade, and our working partnership with the Government of Uganda. FUTA exists to serve traders in every district. When a policy file is opened in Kampala — at State House, the Office of the Prime Minister, Finance, KCCA or URA — the federation takes traders’ concerns into that room. What you will find here:
Official positions of the federation, in English Reports from market visits and regional meetings Notices that affect licences, levies, and the cost of doing business Records of engagement with government, not slogans
The newsroom is the record. Social media will point here. Traders, officers, and partners should treat this page as the source. We invite every trader to follow the work, share the statements, and bring issues to the secretariat.
